The Imperial New Delhi hotel is most definitely a luxury hotel with many upscale amenities. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Expect to be pampered upon arrival and throughout the stay. The grounds are well groomed and the pool is a great place to relax. The hotel can book taxis, tours and guides for you but expect costs to be higher than arranging on your own. Otherwise it is a very good value.

I‘ve stayed in many hotels to which I‘d return if I wanted to stay in that area for tourism or business reasons again, but I only know a handful of hotels to which I‘d return solely because of the hotel, and The Imperial in Delhi is now one of them. Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed it; everyone was friendly and helpful, the food and cocktails at the bar were great, the room was very nice and large (the only point for improvement I could mention there is that the AC is rather noisy, but luckily, the rooms are well insulated, so it‘s also possible to turn the AC off during the night, even if it‘s hot outside) and the whole property has an incredible charm. Will definitely return at some point.

From the moment I arrived at The Imperial Hotel, I loved the warmth and hospitality. The property itself is stunning, showcasing a blend of history and exquisite art that immediately sets the stage for a memorable stay. Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by Neel, whose charm and professionalism made a lasting impression. He shared fascinating details about the hotel’s rich history and its magnificent architecture, which added a personal touch to my experience. Neel escorted me to my room and efficiently guided me through the check-in process, ensuring everything was seamless. The room itself was a luxurious haven, with every detail thoughtfully curated to provide an opulent experience. To my delight, a beautiful tiffin arrived, filled with delicious cucumber sandwiches and decadent chocolate madeleines. Neel had also arranged for a lovely pot of tea, a perfect touch after my six-hour drive. The hotel’s pool is another highlight—beautifully designed and complemented by attentive staff. It’s a tranquil escape that adds to the overall indulgence of the stay. Breakfast at The Imperial is beautifully curated, offering a serene and calm atmosphere to start the day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The Imperial will undoubtedly be my go-to whenever I pass through Delhi. A special thanks to Neel Modi for taking such wonderful care of me—his dedication and exceptional service truly stand out. This young man has a bright future ahead in the hospitality industry and deserves to be applauded for his professionalism and fine hospitality.

I recently stayed at The Imperial Hotel, and my experience was absolutely wonderful. The property is impeccably clean, and the overall atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed, making it the perfect retreat. A special mention goes to the staff at the lounge—Mitali, Neha, and Rentta were absolutely fabulous. They were kind, patient, and went out of their way to host us and make us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality truly stood out. The dining experience was equally impressive. Breakfast was delicious and offered a varied selection of high-quality options. Additionally, the hotel’s outdoor area is gorgeous and provides a beautiful setting to unwind. I highly recommend The Imperial to anyone looking for a quiet and luxurious stay. I look forward to returning!

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The decor and ambiance are of a grand hotel of yesteryear but everything is also in perfect order and beautifully kept. My room was spacious and extremely comfortable. It included a fruit bowl and welcome jar of chocolate madeleines. The bathoom was also large, spotless, and contained ample lovely products. The grounds were relaxing, large and attractive. I enjoyed my breakfast with attentive service and every food and drink that one could want. I also ate in the in-house Asian restaurant which was decorated with salvaged ancient temple remnants. This made it a spectacular and memorable setting. Also, I enjoyed a drink in the atmospheric Patiala Peg bar, which offers the experience of having a 'peg' of spirits, which is in recognition of India's history of socialising during polo. I had read reviews that the hotel needed some small updating, but I disagree with this. Everything is in perfect condition and great order. The staff throughout were also wonderful.
