A gem in the heart of Delhi! Staying at Saltstayz was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—everything is just a short walk away. The rooms are sleek, clean, and modern, and the overall ambiance is wonderfully peaceful. A special thanks to the hospitable staff for their prompt service and warm smiles throughout my stay. 10/10 recommendation!
Staff at the stay was very polite and prompt. Location is prime and safe, rooms are clean, only the bathtub can be little risky. They also charge a premium for the breakfast but it was not good, there were flies too and everything was almost over within an hour. But there are a lot a places around where you can eat. Overall i would say it was still a good stay.
I acknowledge the place is so pretty, especially the staircase, the reception/garden area and everything. I took a premium room for 3 days. I paid 24,000 for 3 days. We hardly stayed in the room; we were just roaming around Delhi and Agra, so we rarely interacted with the staff or reception. In an emergency, I called the reception for Iron Box. which was supposed to be in the room, and it was not. I called and 40 mins waited. They brought in quite a lot later that we were late at one IMP meeting. We asked for towels, as the room had 1 towel for 2 people. We called and waited and waited. We managed and left the room, telling them we would come back and collect them and not to open the room. Yet they opened the room and kept the towel. I consider this a privacy invasion. That bumped both of us. The room service has not been very kind. My husband asked for a plate, as he was unwell, and he did not get it. 'The kitchen is closed' is the answer; we are asking for cutlery and not food. The Jacuzzi, they said and charged for, was dirty, and I think that should not be your selling strategy. Please clean up the sinks first. I did not feel like even standing in there. Except for anything that can be used actually by the guests, the looks of the entire place are beautiful. But unfortunately we did not stay only for that. That is not the only reason for paying hard-earned money. It is service, cleanliness and, most importantly, being kind.
Great location , bang in the middle of Connaught place. A great place to stay in if you want easy access to city centre , shopping and eateries. Has recently been overhauled so well kept and maintained. Not senior citizen friendly since it has two flights of stairs to reach reception. Rooms are spacious however ours were right in front of the reception so felt there wasn't enough privacy on that floor. The bathrooms are spacious too , however the bathtubs are high. So if someone wants to shower and not use the bathtub , it is not possible. And for senior citizens/ differently abled/ kids , access would be a challenge of shower area. Food from iconic Moti Mahal is available to order since management is same.
Me and my husband Jeff needed a nice place to stay for a couple of nights in a safe area in a centralized location. This hotel was very nice, especially for our last two days in Delhi. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and space efficient as well. The water in the shower had really good pressure, and it was nice and hot. The rooms also have air conditioning. In addition, breakfast was included. It's in a different building just downstairs, and to the right of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. What really made our stay pleasant was the hotel and restaurant staff. They really care about making your stay a pleasant experience. They are both friendly and professional. They even went out of their way to get ahold of an on-call doctor to come to the hotel to administer a rabies vaccine when Jeff got bitten by a dog. Many of the clinics were closed on Sunday, but they found someone to come out. That is something we will never forget. They really do go above and beyond, and thanks to them, our last two days in India have been wonderful.
