Nisaba, Humayun's Tomb, Sunder Nagar by Chef Manish Mehrotra - Ambiance is beautiful and calm, with heritage vibes that match the location near Humayun's Tomb. - Small plates were the highlight. Loved the Samosa Daal Muradabadi, Mutton Seekh Kabab with Blue Cheese Butter, and Beetroot Goat Cheese Dahi Vada. Each one felt refined yet rooted. - Barbequed Rice Sole and Summer Corn Malai were light, smoky and full of flavor. - Mains: Thalassery Pepper Chicken was aromatic, Paneer Butter Masala was rich and silken, and Zaveri Bazar Daal was pure comfort. - Desserts stood out. Baked Rasmalai and Benaras Kheer felt nostalgic. Rum Chocolate Ball was indulgent and Gurgaon Doda Pecan Ice Cream was a fun surprise. - Service was warm, attentive and they explained every dish well. - Overall, Nisaba reimagines Indian food with respect for tradition and a modern touch. Truly a memorable dining experience. Thank you Chef Manish Mehrotra for the food and hospitality. Highly recommend for a special meal.
An out of the world curated meals experience by Chef Manish Mehrotra. Each dish is an experience in itself. The cocktails are so different. Service standards are what one would expect in such a place. Definitely worth another visit for the dishes we couldn't try then.
We had a wonderful meal here in honor of of my mother in law’s 88th birthday! The service was friendly and efficient and the servers were knowledgeable about the preparations. The manager was helpful, enthusiastic and entertaining! The food was excellent….well prepared and beautifully presented. The quantity was perfect. The setup is very nice, spacious and well appointed. I am looking forward to forward to coming back here again very soon! Excellent place.
I first went to Nisaba for an early tasting and loved it so much that I made sure to visit again when I came from Singapore to Delhi. The food is Indian but with such creative and delicious twists that make every dish feel special. The paneer pakora was a standout - classic flavours but with beautiful layering and a unique spin that made it unforgettable. The drinks selection was also really refreshing and different from the usual options you find elsewhere. But the biggest surprise for me was the spinach raita with sesame seeds — what an invention! The thinly sliced spinach with the creamy raita was such a unique combination and honestly hit all the right notes. Another hit was the jhakia aloo - very hard to resist, very appetising. And the desserts were finger-licking good. The dhoda burfee brownie with ice cream was absolutely incredible, and the baked rasmalai was equally amazing. Overall, every dish was packed with flavour and creativity. Nisaba is absolutely worth visiting if you want Indian food with a modern twist. Huge kudos to Chef Mehrotra for his personal touch in every dish and his warm hospitality. He visited us multiple times during the lunch and made sure we were fed well and looked after. Everything was on the table was perfect and the team did a great effort to make our experience memorable. I can’t wait to visit again :)
Outstanding service and ambiance but average food. Service was courteous and attentive. Great decor and vibe. Food presentation was great but taste was average. Malai chicken was very heavy. Biryani was also only ok. Lotus root appetizer was excellent.
