Nice stay, be it a business trip or a personal visit. Breakfast is nice rooms are spacious and well maintained. No smell, bathrooms are clean and the wifi is good. Gym at 7th floor could have been better. Business area in busement is also good. Mall entry is just adjacent no hassles if you want to go shopping or to the nice bars nearby
One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. With Select Citywalk Mall, DLF Avenue, Saket Metro Station, and Max Super Speciality Hospital all within walking distance, guests rarely need to travel far for shopping, dining, or healthcare. The airport is also reasonably accessible, making it convenient for short stays. The rooms are noticeably larger than those found in many Delhi business hotels, and many guests appreciate the spacious suites, comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, and functional workspaces. Cleanliness generally receives positive feedback, and the housekeeping staff is often praised for maintaining the rooms well. Breakfast offers a good variety of Indian and international dishes, while the staff are frequently described as courteous, welcoming, and responsive. That said, the property isn’t without drawbacks. Several guests mention that parts of the hotel feel dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Some have reported occasional maintenance issues, inconsistent room amenities, and pricing that may not always reflect the condition of the property. While service is generally strong, experiences can vary during busy periods. Overall, Svelte Delhi is best suited for travelers who value location, spacious accommodation, and the convenience of being attached to one of Delhi’s premier shopping destinations. If you’re expecting a newly renovated luxury hotel, you may find some areas showing their age. However, for business trips, medical visits, shopping weekends, or family stays in South Delhi, it remains a dependable and comfortable option.
Upon arrival, I found hairs in several spots throughout the bed, along with soiled linens, which was disappointing and not what I expect from a hotel of this caliber. However, the hotel handled the situation exceptionally well. Rather than simply moving me to another room, they upgraded me to a suite, which was a thoughtful gesture and showed they took the issue seriously. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The air conditioning worked well, and the TVs were good quality. The suite was particularly impressive, offering plenty of space and privacy plus an integrated bidet. Even the premium rooms are quite nice, but if I stay here again, I would definitely choose a suite. Being able to walk directly between the hotel and the mall is also a major convenience and a great perk of the property. As a premium member, I had initially been upgraded to a premium room, which was a nice recognition benefit. The subsequent suite upgrade was a generous apology for the housekeeping issue. The staff throughout my stay were friendly and professional. I arrived very late, around 2:00 a.m., and both front desk associates working that night were kind, understanding, and efficient in resolving the issue. The bellman was also helpful and courteous. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. If you plan to use the laundry service, be prepared to pay in cash. There was no UPI option, no credit card payment option, and no ability to charge it to the room, which is something I have come to expect at most hotels. Breakfast was adequate but below average. I missed having options such as waffles and pancakes. Oatmeal was available, but there was no cinnamon, and the bananas were hard and unripe. Overall, the breakfast selection felt fairly basic and could benefit from more variety. As a premium Radisson member, I would have appreciated a bit more recognition, such as a welcome note from the General Manager or a small amenity like fruit, snacks, or a welcome platter. One minor suggestion would be to better stock the kitchenettes. A portable stove and a few additional utensils would make extended stays even more convenient, though I understand the hotel may have concerns about loss or theft. Despite a few shortcomings, the excellent service recovery, friendly staff, spacious accommodations, and convenient location made this a positive stay. The way the team handled the issue with the bed left a very favorable impression, and I would consider staying here again.
A good hotel located conveniently just adjacent to the entrance of select city mall. The reception is a bit slow at their work so you need to wait a bit before getting your key. The guards are pleasant and helpful. The housekeeping team is good at their work. Now coming to the room, we got an outdoor view of the mall with picture windows. Lots of cabinets and shelves available for your convenience. The restroom had a bidet along with jet spray which is a nice touch. A 55 inch smart TV is available so the viewing quality is good. Now coming to main con, the bed. The mattress was so overly used that u just sink into it which leads to a lot of backpain the next morning. This definitely needs the management's attention, please change the mattresses as that's the only major downside here. The other issue here is that curtains aren't entirely blackout and some of the smaller windows just have sunshades, I'd recommend that all be changed to complete blackout curtains, that would really enhance the stay. They have a rooftop pool which is very nice to swim in and just have a relaxed time. It is maintained well and definitely should be tried out. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the vicinity provided that the concerns are addressed.
Excellent Stay Experience I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Delhi. The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. A special thanks to Mr Abhishek [Reception In-charge ] at the reception, who kindly accommodated my early check-in request and even upgraded my room, which made my stay much more comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. The staff were courteous, professional, and always willing to help. I truly appreciate the hospitality and attention to guest comfort. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Delhi and look forward to staying here again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
