Average hotel located close to Delhi Airport. I booked it based on the good ratings on Google and MakeMyTrip, but personally I don’t think it quite lives up to the 4+ rating. That said, it’s a decent option for the price if you’re just looking for a convenient stay near the airport.
My stay at Delhi Smart Plaza was disappointing and unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I was traveling with my family of four, but despite larger rooms being available, we were given a room that seemed suitable for only two people and were asked to adjust. The room did not have a proper window, which made it difficult to tell whether it was day or night. The staff was not very helpful or welcoming, and their attitude throughout our stay felt unprofessional. We also did not receive assistance with our luggage. The food was another letdown. There were very limited options, and only a few dishes tasted good. The breakfast experience was not well managed, and items such as plates and spoons were often unavailable. As a guest from South India, I also found communication difficult at times. Overall, the service, food quality, and room allocation did not meet my expectations. I hope the management takes guest feedback seriously and works on improving the experience for future visitors.
