If you are looking for a break from the sleek, modern lounges of CP, Desi Villago offers a refreshing change of pace with its village-themed decor and authentic North Indian flavors. The ambiance is cozy and well-curated, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The Food Highlights: DV Chicken Lehsuni Tikka: This was the standout of the meal. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the garlic infusion was bold without being overpowering. It had that beautiful charred finish from the tandoor that balanced the creaminess of the marinade. DV Hara Bhara Kabab: A great vegetarian companion to the meal. These were crisp on the outside and wonderfully melt-in-the-mouth on the inside, packed with fresh greens and subtle spices. Ambiance & Service: The rural-inspired interiors—complete with mud-finish walls and traditional artifacts—create a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was attentive and the service was quick, ensuring the appetizers arrived hot and fresh.
Lovely restaurant in CP offering great North Indian and Pan Asian menu options. Village themes restaurant and quite busy during the lunch hours. They need some more banners cause it is hard to find. Same building as the BBQ Nation, top floor. Started with Fresh Lime Soda and Mango Lassi which were really good, refreshing. Masala Papad was fine too. Starters were Chicken Sheek Kebab and Chilli Chicken which were perfectly flavoured, great in taste. Thought the portions could be little better as per the price. For the mains we had Paneer Rogan Josh and Chicken Tikka Lababdar paired with Butter garlic Naan. Everything was delicious. Would highly recommend the Chicken dish. They have great offers going on during the lunch time which was fantastic. Service was fine, great experience overall. Highly recommended.
Wonderful food, expansive menu, decent portion sizes, and an enjoyable ambience. We have mostly had Indian food here and it's always delicious - whether veg or non veg.
The place serves amazing food. Its expensive but the food is really good. The preparation, taste, aroma, plating, everything is very well balanced. The ambiance is also very good.
