The itinerary for the Driving trip to Spiti was well developed, covering important locations and slowly gaining altitude to allow us to acclimatize to the heights and reduced oxygen levels. The gorgeous and diverse landscape of Himachal Pradesh came alive through the journey. The stays were in good hotels and resorts although the quality of the rooms and service in some of the hotels left room for improvement. Although the roads were rugged and dangerous to drive on, the drivers were careful and capable negotiating the terrain. What was most disappointing was that the guides were not knowledgeable about the locations, the local culture, biodiversity and flora and fauna to bring the locations alive for us. For instance, taking us to a monastery and not knowing anything about the history or significance of the same was not acceptable. There was a certain sloppiness in their approach to managing the daily agenda and the tour. WoW trips are priced at a premium and the expectation is that the experience and facilities would be commensurate. All in all, it was a memorable trip with some aspects that could be addressed through better planning and capable resources.
This was my first trip with WOW. I wanted to celebrate my birthday differently this year, so I chose the Valley of Flowers trek 🪻 with Wow Club—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. The entire trip was well-organized, from travel arrangements to accommodations. A big thank you to Sujata our travel buddy and to our group leader, Abhimanyu, for their exceptional support throughout the trip. From managing all the arrangements to ensuring everyone's safety and comfort, everything was handled seamlessly. What made the journey truly special was the beautiful road trips, the excitement of trekking through the mountains, and the amazing people we met along the way. The stunning views, shared experiences, and little moments made it an adventure to remember. If you're looking for a well-planned adventure with amazing people, I highly recommend Wow Club!👍
My first trip with WOW has been exceptional! Spiti—a road trip through the beautiful landscapes of Himachal. Every detail of the itinerary was thoughtfully planned. A big thank you to WOW (Nilisha) and Himalayas Calling (Priyal & Anil) for curating such a wonderful & comfortable experience. A special shout-out to the driving crew—the most experienced and respectful drivers I've had the pleasure of traveling with. The mountains have my heart! 🏔️🫶🏻
My first solo international trip with WOW Club turned out to be an absolutely incredible experience. Exploring the scenic beauty and stunning beaches of Bali with such a wonderful group of fellow travellers made it truly unforgettable. What made the journey even more special was witnessing the rich heritage of Hinduism in Bali through its beautiful temples and vibrant culture. Every place we visited had its own charm and story, adding depth to the entire experience. The heartwarming aspects of the trip was the bond we shared as women travellers. Despite having an age group 30-70yr it never felt like there was any difference between us. We connected laughed together, and enjoyed every moment to the fullest. The resorts in Kutta & Ubud was very beautiful with greenery all around. A special mention to our WOW buddy, Meenakchi, who made the entire trip seamless and memorable. She was incredibly approachable, supportive, and ensured that all our needs were taken care of. More than just an organizer, she became a part of our group—sharing laughs, conversations, and creating beautiful memories with us. Our interactions with fellow wanderers were filled with music, fun, and countless photos that will always remind us of this amazing journey. The tour guide also played a great role in making sure we covered all the planned destinations while keeping the energy lively and enjoyable throughout. Overall, it was a beautiful and enriching experience—filled with meaningful connections, endless laughter, and memories that I will cherish forever.
Just got back from Kashmir trip. My first ever trip with WOW and what an amazing experience - so well organized with super amazing buddy Aliya. Many thanks to Aliya who was so supportive and caring - looking after each one's need. Kashmir as a place is exactly what I'd heard - Heaven on Earth - snow peaks, serene Dal lake with Shikara rides, Pahalgam, Doodhpathri, Gulmarg its natural beauty is just picture perfect. Looking forward to more WOW trips.....
