- Ijen Crater is closed on the first Friday of every month for maintenance.
- The famous Blue Fire phenomenon in Ijen is not guaranteed, as it depends on weather conditions, local regulations, and force majeure situations.
- Ferry crossings may be suspended during Nyepi Day, with dates varying annually.
- Mount Bromo may also be temporarily closed during certain local ceremonies or cultural events.
