Chiang Rai: White Temple, Blue Temple, Big Buddha, Long Neck Village & Lalitta Café
This is a full-day experience with a total duration of approximately 13 hours, including transportation, sightseeing, lunch, and rest stops.
Start your journey with a hotel or meeting point pickup in Chiang Mai and travel north to Chiang Rai. Discover some of the region’s most famous attractions, including the Long Neck Village, Mae Kachan Hot Spring, White Temple, Blue Temple, Big Buddha, and Lalitta Café.
Your first stop is the Long Neck Village, home to the Kayan people. Learn about their unique culture and traditions, including the distinctive brass neck rings worn by many women in the community.
Continue to Mae Kachan Hot Spring, a popular rest stop between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Take a short break to stretch your legs and enjoy the natural hot spring atmosphere before continuing your journey.
Next, visit the world-famous White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), one of Thailand’s most remarkable landmarks. Admire its dazzling white architecture and intricate mirrored details that symbolize purity and enlightenment.
Enjoy a Thai buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten), known for its striking sapphire-blue interior and exterior. Admire the temple’s beautiful Lanna-style architecture and impressive artwork.
Then visit Wat Huay Pla Kang, often referred to as the Big Buddha. The temple complex features a towering white statue of Guanyin, a nine-tier pagoda, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Complete your Chiang Rai experience with a visit to Lalitta Café, a charming forest-themed café inspired by the legendary Himmapan Forest. Wander through lush gardens, misty pathways, and admire the picturesque artificial waterfall. Food and drinks at the café are at your own expense.
After a memorable day of sightseeing, relax on the journey back to Chiang Mai. Depending on traffic and road conditions, arrival is typically between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM.

Important Information
- Temple Dress Code: Visiting temples requires appropriate attire — long pants or skirts covering the knees, and shoulders must be covered.
Travel Distance: The distance from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai is approximately 3 hours each way.
Luggage Policy: To ensure comfort for all passengers: Suitcases, large luggage, and large backpacks are not allowed inside the van.
Each customer is allowed 1 small personal item (maximum size 50cm (H) x 35cm (W) x 20cm (D) and weight not exceeding 7kg). The small item must be placed on your lap and should not disturb other passengers.
If your luggage weighs more than 7kg, please book an additional seat. If this is not arranged in advance, the guide will not be able to allow the luggage inside due to limited space.
