The Dolphin Tours Croatia crew will take you along the beautiful Vrgada Channel, an area known for frequent dolphin sightings. In our search for the dolphins, we sometimes also cruise near the fish farms in the channel – dolphins are often drawn there by the abundance of fish, so it can be one of the best spots to see them. Watch the water closely – playful dolphins often swim near the boat, leaping and gliding through the waves.

This means you see them free in their natural environment – not in captivity. Sometimes they come close to the boat on their own; other times they stay farther away, so we recommend bringing a camera or binoculars to enjoy every moment.

Dolphin Tours Croatia is operated by RPZ Vrgada, a fishing cooperative from the island of Vrgada founded in 1909. Our crew has spent generations on these waters and knows exactly where the dolphins like to appear.

Dolphins are wild animals living in their natural habitat. We often encounter them during our tours, but their behavior is unpredictable and cannot be controlled. On some days they are playful and curious and swim close to the boat; on other days they may travel, feed, rest, or stay farther away.
Our tours are designed to observe dolphins respectfully, without disturbing them. We never chase, feed, or interfere with them. Every encounter is different, and seeing dolphins behave naturally is part of what makes these tours so special. For this reason we recommend bringing a camera or binoculars.
Our 'next trip free' guarantee applies only if no dolphins are seen at all during the tour.
