Description
Cruise from Nidri to islands of Lefkada, Kefalonia, and Ithaki for a day filled with swimming at world-class beaches, exploring a fishing village, and seeing a mysterious private island.
Depart from Nidri in the morning and sail through the bay past hillside villages like Vasiliki. Travel to the southern tip of Lefkas island. Stop to swim in the turquoise waters of Porto Katsiki and Egremni beach.
Continue to the fishing village of Fiskardo on Kefalonia which survived the catastrophic earthquake of 1953. Have some free time to shop, stroll through alleys, or have a drink at a seaside café or bar.
Head to island of Ithaki for more swimming. Ride into Papanikolis’ cave, where a submarine lay hidden during the 2nd World War. View the island of Scorpios, a private island that is shrouded in tragedy. Pass by Madouri or Poet’s island on the return trip.
