Friday Mosque
Your first stop is Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Spend some time walking around the red sandstone courtyard.It was built in 1656 with the help of 5000 workers.
We will go to breakfast after seeing Jama Masjid.
Red Fort
Red Fort is a massive structure built by Shah Jahan between 1639-1648. It served as the main residence for the Mughal emperors. The architecture of the fort reflects upon the Indo-Islamic and Mughal style. Amazing fact is that it has a 2 KM long wall which is sure to impress anyone.
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
It is said that in the year 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru came to visit the King and cured people who were contracted with smallpox and cholera epidemic by distributing them water from the tank. That water tank, used by the Guru, still exists today inside the gurudwara and is believed to possess medicinal properties.
India Gate
The 1921 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' has names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen carved on the wall who died during the First World War.
Parliament House
After seeing India Gate, you will also drive past Parliament House. You can take pictures and continue to your next monument.
Rashtrapati Bhavan
You will be also visiting President's House.
Humayun's Tomb
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is the first Garden Tomb of India. The sole purpose of Humayun's wife was to build this tomb after his death.
We will go to Lunch Before or after seeing Humayun's Tomb.
Qutub Minar
It is the tallest minaret built up in 1192 with bricks. It is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated in Mehrauli.
The area around is known as the Qutub complex
