HoIi is celebrated in the month of March every year by all Indians (including non-Hindu communities) on a different date each year as per Hindu Lunar Calendar.
In 2027, Holi shall be celebrated on Monday, 22nd March.
It shall be a wonderful and immersive experience for anyone interested in Indian culture and the Holi festival.
Participating in the festival with a local family can provide a unique and authentic insight into the traditions and customs associated with Holi which is a major festival of India - full of fun, colours, music, dance, eatables & drinks.
By booking this Tour, the Guests can participate in the Holi Festival with the Guide and his family at their home in Delhi.
Upon arrival, the Guests shall be given a traditional welcome.
Then you shall be provided snacks, sweets & drinks as refreshments.
You shall be explained the significance & importance of Holi Festival in India through a fun Quiz.
Thereafter, you (along with Guide & his family) shall go walking to the park in the Apartment where Guide's home is located to enjoy the Holi festival. Here you shall play with coloured powder, water balloons and water guns in the park. You'll be provided with a cool Holi headgear. Simultaneously, you shall have an opportunity to dance on Bollywood songs.
After playing Holi you can change your spoiled clothes. It is expected of you to bring a set of fresh clothes for yourself to be worn after playing Holi.
Subsequently, you can have community vegetarian Lunch with the Guide and his family.
It will be an unforgettable day of your life where you shall take part in a major Indian Festival.
Towards the end of the Tour, the Guests shall be provided with a very special Souvenir from Indian culture.

The Guests will get detailed information & instructions about the Tour from the Guide after the Booking.
The Tour shall be conducted from the Guide's home in Delhi.
You can also very easily reach Guide's home by any Taxi Service (like Uber/Ola) from your place of stay in Delhi.
The Guides shall provide safe space to keep travel-luggage for Guests going-to / coming-from the Airport after / before the Holi Experience.
