Day 1: Delhi → Agra (Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Sightseeing) Morning: Departure from Delhi 05:30 AM: Pick up from your hotel/home in Delhi. Drive to Agra via Yamuna Expressway (approx. 3.5–4 hours). 09:00 AM: Arrive in Agra; freshen up and have breakfast at a local restaurant. Late Morning: Taj Mahal Visit 09:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Best time for photography: Early morning or late afternoon. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Afternoon: Agra Fort & Lunch 12:30 PM – 02:00 PM: Visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. 02:00 PM – 03:00 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening: Mehtab Bagh & Local Markets 03:30 PM – 05:00 PM: Visit Mehtab Bagh (for a beautiful sunset view of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River). 05:30 PM – 07:00 PM: Explore Agra’s marble inlay workshops and handicraft markets.
