Explore the secrets of Indian cities on a 4-day tour from Delhi. Visit the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, and the Amber Fort. Discover the secrets of the cities of Agra, Jaipur, and Delhi.
Day 1: Delhi - Agra
Meet your guide at the Delhi airport and receive a traditional greeting with a garland of flowers. Depart to Agra and check into your hotel. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the city.
Visit the Taj Mahal, a grand temple built in memory of his wife by the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Continue to the Agra Fort, a medieval fort built in the 16th century on the site of the dilapidated Badalgarh Fort by the third Mughal Emperor Akbar.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before transferring to your hotel for the night.
Day 2: Agra – Fatehpur – Abhaneri – Jaipur
Depart Agra and enjoy 40 minutes drive to the Fatehpur Sikri and also visit the village of Abhaneri. See the Chand Baori, a stepwell and one of the oldest and deepest stepwells in India.
Continue to Jaipur and check into your hotel.
Day 3: Jaipur - Delhi
Visit the Amber Fort, famous for its large fortress walls with a number of gates and paved paths. Enjoy an elephant ride to the top of the hill where the fort is located.
See the Water Palace, Visit the Palace of the Winds, a five-tiered harem wing of the palace complex of the Jaipur Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh.
Visit the City Palace, an amazing palace complex in one of the oldest quarters of the city. See the Jantar Mantar, an observatory, and the main purpose of its construction is to compile astronomical maps and tables, determine the time and movement of the sun, moon, and planets.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Monkey Temple. Depart to Delhi and check into your hotel.
Day 4: Delhi
Visit the Birla Temple, built in honor of the goddess of happiness and abundance Lakshmi and Narayana, who is one of the incarnations of the god Vishnu. See the Lotus Temple, the main temple of the Baha'i religion in India and neighboring countries, built in 1986.
Visit the Lodi Garden, which contains the tombs of Muhammad Shah, Sikander Lodi, Shish Gumbad, and Bara Gumbad, examples of architecture from the 15th century.
Enjoy lunch at one of New Delhi's finest restaurants before visiting the India Gate, originally called the All India War Memorial. See the President's House, the official residence of the President of India in New Delhi.
Visit the Jami Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Take a cycle rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Old Delhi. See the Red Fort, one of the outstanding architectural structures of Indian culture.
Visit the Sikh Temple, one of the main Sikh temples in Delhi. See the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, a monument to Mahatma Gandhi and other Indian Prime Ministers.
Enjoy masala tea and spices before transferring to the airport.
