Description
The adventure begins in the morning with a whale watching tour guided by our experienced team of marine biologists. After an initial safety briefing, we depart from the marina to search for some of the 28 species of cetaceans that can be spotted in the Azores throughout the year — all from the comfort of a fast, safe boat, with breathtaking coastal scenery as your backdrop.
Upon returning to land, you'll have time to recharge with a picnic-style lunch at the marina.
In the afternoon, the experience continues with an even more immersive activity: swimming with dolphins in open water. After a second briefing and a short adaptation to the snorkeling equipment (mask and snorkel), we’ll carefully enter the water to swim alongside groups of dolphins in their natural habitat — always respecting their space and natural behavior. This is a powerful moment of connection with nature — thrilling, safe, and conducted with the environmental responsibility that defines us.
The whale watching portion will take up to 24 people per boat. Swimming with dolphins has a maximum of 8 per boat. Activity will always be done on a fast, semi-rigid rubber boat.
