Visited Nineteen 78 for lunch, and the experience was not good . The food was average. We ordered many dishes and one of the Dragon Fruit Palak Patta Chaat, but it had only a few thin slices of dragon fruit on top instead of actual fruit in the dish. The service was even more disappointing. Despite having several staff members on the floor, no one came to ask for feedback or check if we needed anything. A little attention to both food quality and customer service would make a big difference.
The place has a decent vibe and zero wait time, which is nice. But then a tiny cockroach did a drive-by at my table, so I guess the "1978" theme extends to their hygiene standards, too. The food is a bit of a rollercoaster: the paneer tikka was bland, but the pasta was actually great and the momos were a solid 4.5/5. If they just clean up a bit, they’d be golden. For now, it’s a 3/5
The ambience was good, we didn’t have to wait much for the service, it was quite fast. The avocado tikka is unique and tastes good with beetroot dip and onion, the paneer roll was again a unique dish which we loved. The spring rolls were okay. The coffee was good as well

The restaurant has a warm, art-filled ambiance with elegant lighting and intimate seating, making it perfect for a relaxed and indulgent evening. A special mention to their Winter Special Menu, which is thoughtfully curated and celebrates seasonal flavours beautifully. Dishes like Pineapple Rasam, Corn aur Sarson ki Tikki with Aanwale ka Murabba, Tabak Maaz with Taftaan, Sarson ka Saag with Makki ki Roti, Soya Rogan Josh, and Gajar ka Halwa with Ginger Candy bring together nostalgia, richness, and winter comfort in a very refined way. The chicken dishes were rich, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The highlight for us was the chicken & ginger dimsums—warm, aromatic, and incredibly comforting, especially for winter evenings. Overall, Nineteen 78 offers a wonderful dining experience where seasonal cuisine, elegant ambiance, and attention to detail come together seamlessly. Highly recommended for unhurried dinners and elevated winter dining.
Warm lights, Beautiful ambience and welcoming staff. Seriously loved the lunch here everything was so beautifully presented I tried various mocktails and Shakes In starters I loved the paneer tikka and the unique corn and cheese Money bags. In Main course Paneer Swiss Roll was really delicious. And the star of the Meal was the Evergreen kunafah with Ice Cream ✨🤌
