The preheated crocry plates replaced with cheap plastic plates, the mutton qorma was average and meat was not cooked completly. Had to get a replacemnt since could not tear meat. The tandoori Chiken was tender and seasoned well. Tandoori roti was awesome as always. But i see the Kareem is lossong its essence as a fine dining now. Cutlury was placed directly on table. Glaases were not looking clean.
This was my first visit to Karim, and it was a delight. Wonderfully flavoursome food, excellent service, and at a very reasonable price. We were very greedy because there were things I'd not tried on the menu, and so we ordered many dishes. For me, a British chap who has visted India a couple of times before, this was as much a culinary education. The opportunity to try wonderful food in authentic surroundings. I really enjoyed the mutton curries and the keema naan, which was crispy and scored, quite different to the soft keema naans we have in England. It was a really enjoyable meal, and I plan to return next time I visit. Excellent service, an absolute pleasure.
Karim’s near Humayun’s Tomb is a hidden culinary gem for anyone who loves authentic Mughlai food. Just like the iconic Karim’s at Jama Masjid, this branch serves rich, flavourful dishes that remind you of old Delhi’s royal kitchens — but in a quieter, cleaner, and more comfortable setting. The menu is packed with classics: melt-in-the-mouth mutton seekh kebabs, buttery chicken curry, and the famous biryani that’s fragrant, perfectly spiced, and full of tender meat. The rotis and tandoori items are outstanding. Every dish feels freshly prepared, not oily, and full of genuine Mughlai flavours. Service is quick and polite, and the ambience is family-friendly — ideal for tourists visiting Humayun’s Tomb who want great food without traveling far. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. ✅ Authentic Mughlai taste ✅ Soft & juicy kebabs ✅ Great seating and hygienic ✅ Perfect stop after exploring Humayun’s Tomb If you’re anywhere near Nizamuddin or Humayun’s Tomb and want a memorable meal, Karim’s Hotel is the best choice. Highly recommended!
