A lovely evening, an opulent ambience, with the most innovative food , @pendulo.restaurant enthralled everyone with their alacarte menu !! With the fusion of indian and Mexican so delightfully done, the distinctive flavours of each ingredient stood out!! The dishes were so beautifully camouflaged that the result tasted divine! The Sitar played in fusion with the music, and the Cocktails were vibrantly flowing and spellbinding ! The dining is truly an EXPERIENCE!!!

It’s definitely not worth the money. Only few courses out of the 12 were memorable. The bharwan chili with chicken was great; as was the chicken mole. Their sorbets were amazing — surprise surprise, they’re outsourced. The waiter refused to reveal where the sorbets are sourced from, which I found a bit amusing. Anyway, for the exorbitant price of a tasting menu, I sincerely wish I avoided it. Yes, i did like a couple of the dishes, but rest of the dinner was not worth sitting through for this. It isn’t enough for the chefs to come up with concepts that sound great on a menu. They have to be able to execute it well — and with FLAVOUR. Sheesh. I think I am going to steer clear of any restaurants from this group.

I recently visited Pendulo, an Indian-Mexican fine-dining restaurant offering both 8-course and 12-course tasting menus. The overall experience was a mixed one. To start with the positives, the service was genuinely impressive. The staff were attentive, well-informed about the dishes, and ensured a smooth dining experience throughout. The atmosphere also deserves praise — the ambiance is elegant and thoughtfully designed, making it a great place for a special occasion or a relaxed fine-dining evening. However, the food itself didn’t quite live up to the expectations that the concept promises. While the idea of blending Indian and Mexican cuisines is exciting, most dishes were just okay and didn’t leave a lasting impression. There were a few standout items that were genuinely enjoyable, but they were more the exception than the rule. One major drawback is the portion size. As expected in tasting menus, the servings are quite small, but unlike some other restaurants, there isn’t any option to repeat or enjoy certain items in larger quantities. This makes the experience feel a bit restrictive, especially considering the price point. Overall, Pendulo gets high marks for service and ambiance, but the food and portion sizes hold it back from being a truly memorable dining experience.

We loved this place - 3 weeks in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra & Goa & i think this was my favorite!! The 8 course & 12 course was simply a piece of art - the textures & flavours were so good. The server spoke a bit faster than we’re used to so some courses we had no idea what he had said 😂 but nonetheless enjoyed it. The complex in which it’s housed is beautiful- designer shops & cafes so you can easily walk about beforehand should you wish too. We did. We tried the non-veg & the veg menus between the 3 of us and both were delicious Definitely booking again when I fly back to Delhi/india.

The best way to experience this place is the 12-course tasting menu - we chose the non-veg menu and the overall experience was a solid 8/10. The menu is thoughtfully designed and the Indian–Mexican fusion really comes through across most courses. Some parts missed the mark... the drinks felt overpriced for what they were, and the corn course in particular was disappointing. The flavors on the other dishes were largely spot on, but the final bill did not quite justify the overall gastronomic experience. For me, it’s a “one-and-done” spot for a date night, rather than a place I’d return to regularly.
