TRES is one of those rare restaurants that simply gets it right. Nowadays, dining out has become a gamble. Places either have great cocktails and average food, beautiful spaces with disappointing execution, or one signature dish carrying an entire menu. TRES somehow manages to avoid all of that. Everything we ordered was genuinely good. The cocktails were well made, the food was excellent throughout and, surprisingly, the desserts held their own as well instead of being an afterthought. But the biggest appreciation has to go to the steak. I asked for a medium rare steak and, to my surprise, they actually served a proper medium rare steak. It’s funny that this has become something worth celebrating these days, but anyone who frequently dines out knows exactly what I mean. More often than not, medium rare somehow arrives medium well. Not here. The consistency across the meal was what impressed me the most. Nothing felt weak, nothing felt unnecessary and everything on the table felt intentional. The service was smooth, the experience was relaxed and the entire restaurant just has a certain confidence about it without feeling pretentious. Delhi has plenty of restaurants with hype. TRES is one of the few that actually backs it up. Will happily keep going back. 👏
I arrived at 11:55 AM, just 5 minutes before opening. When I asked for a glass of water, a female staff member refused, stating they weren't open yet. What was disappointing was that even after 12:00 PM passed, the water wasn't served until I had to ask for it again. However, the food was absolutely wonderful unique and high quality. The male server provided perfect service, from the detailed menu explanations to the serving itself. One thing to note is that the restroom is located on the second floor via a steep staircase, which might be challenging for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd love to return with my family for a special occasion.
Menu was quite limited and niche, couldn’t figure out wether it was good or bad. The food and beverage pricing is steep and exorbitant for the portion size and overall experience. On the other hand, service was good. Quality of ingredients are top notch. Great atmosphere, trim decor, good atmosphere. Food tasted nice but was served at warm temp despite sitting right in front of the kitchen. 3 star- will think twice before visiting again, not the first option for sure. Mixed feeling with the experience.
Tres is one of the finest restaurants in Delhi where you can enjoy authentic European dishes. The place is very clean and well-maintained, and all the staff are very kind and professional.. Just one thing you should know is that, not just this restaurant but all the restaurants in India, if you order medium roasted, they will serve it well-done. So if you want to have juicier and more tender meat, you should order rare rather than medium.
Walked in for a late lunch, the place was quiet, but beautiful decor. They have a few outdoor seating. The rocket & green apple salad was great. The pizza tasted good, wish it was warmer. Red wine sangria tasted great but I was not sure why they added ice cubes to the drink. The staff was courteous.
