Getting a seat here is definitely a challenge because of the rush, but the food makes the struggle completely worth it. We tried the Mutton Nihari (which we found out is a favorite of Ranbir Kapoor’s!), and it was absolute perfection - rich, flavorful, and finger-licking good! The Chicken Fry and Chicken Seekh Kebabs were equally amazing. While the rotis were a bit smaller than expected, the extremely pocket-friendly prices and authentic Mughlai flavors more than make up for it. A absolute must-visit for Mughlai food lovers!
Visited Hussaini Hotel in Nizamuddin today and tried their famous Nalli Nihari. It completely lived up to its reputation. The gravy was rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced with traditional Mughlai spices, while the meat was so tender that it effortlessly came off the bone. Paired with fresh tandoori and rumali roti, the meal was absolutely delightful. The restaurant has a simple, authentic atmosphere that lets the food take center stage. If you're looking to experience genuine Delhi Mughlai cuisine without spending a fortune, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll surely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommended!
One of my favorite places in South Delhi for Nehari and Kebabs. Affordable place with relatively quick service. They make their own breads which is an added advantage. You get fresh crisp tandoori rotis straight from the over. They are great with their tandoori chicken, chicken korma, chicken changezi and buff nehari. Their own phirni is also amazing. Vegetarian options are a bit limited but the plain rice and daal combo is quite good. At times one has to wait a bit to find a table. Best to go before 9 PM for dinner or after 10:30 PM.
Had an amazing food experience at Hussaini Hotel. The Nihari was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Their Seekh Kebab was super juicy and tasty, and the Seekh Kebab Roll was equally delicious. Definitely a must-try spot in Nizamuddin for non-veg lovers!
